Product Q & A
QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
How fast can this infrared heater warm up a seemingly large room to a pleasant temperature?
Of course, when having a tool such as this, you want to feel the heat as soon as possible. No need to have a brand-new heater that needs 30 minutes of you freezing to get up to speed. Efficiency is something we take very responsibly, that is why our infrared heaters do twice the job of electric ones. This happens because the infrared heaters warm up the physical elements rather than the air in a room. See our website for more information.
So how can having a thermostat help you in reducing your electricity bill? I really don’t get the concept?
Using a thermostat means that once the FAR heater reaches the needed temperature of the room it will go off. The heater will go back on once the temperature drops 0.5 degrees below the desired one. In a real-life average situation, this means that for a 24 hour period you will have the heater working for 6 or 7 hours maximum. If you still don’t get it - feel free to contact us if you need any further clarification.
Is this heater suitable for usage in a bedroom? We don’t have general heating in the bedroom and are thinking about our options at the moment.
All our panel heaters will be suitable for bedrooms because they are working silently and will not interrupt your sleep. They do not heat the air, nor create moisture thus reducing mold, which is terrible to breathe during your sleep. Getting an infrared panel heater is one of the best heating options for your bedroom.
Do I need to hire a specialist to install this heater in my living room?
We will always advice you to call a specialist so that we are sure that everything is ok. However, if you follow the installation manual carefully one can install the panel without a problem. The heater needs to be mounted on the wall and plugged into a close electrical socket– nothing so complicated. These panels are really easy to install…however installing a heater in the bathroom is a bit trickier as we don’t want any water close to the electricity socket.
